I began my journey as a regional makeup artist for Smashbox Cosmetics in Los Angeles. Smashbox gave me access to the world of Hollywood fashion! I was lucky enough to work on the VMA’s, the Vh1 awards and countless fashion shows for my 3 years with them! From there I became a resident artist for Armani Cosmetics at Sak’s Beverly Hills.
By this time I was beginning to miss my home and family in Florida. But I still hadn’t fulfilled wish number 1. Enter American Idol! For the entire 2nd season I was blessed with the opportunity to work as a staff makeup artist on the highest rated show in the world. It was so much fun and I even got my picture in People Magazine!
Shortly after I was lucky enough to be hired at the very prestigious LA fashion store, Fred Segal! That group and experience will forever remain my favorite part of my days in the city of angels. I learned so much and that’s where I met the lovely & talented Candice.
After leaving LA I went to hair school and became a stylist. Within 5 years I was ready to open a salon. Tou Lou Color Salon was the culmination of all my years in beauty! And it was a huge hit! We did so well that I opened a second location. Unfortunately the salon world was forever changed by covid and I knew it was time for dream number 3.
Candice has years of experience in product development so I described my vision to her and Haute Sauce Filler Gloss was created! The process took 3 years but once we were finished we both knew a rock star was born! Haute Sauce is a dream come true, you’re welcome.

I started my cosmetics journey as an assistant makeup artist in Orange County, CA. After making the move to Los Angeles I worked as a makeup artist for Fred Segal! My days in Santa Monica taught me a great deal about niche brands and quality makeup. Fred Segal is also where I met my best friends to this day!. Ultimately I became a cosmetic buyer at Fred Segal and that opportunity led me to Forever 21. Forever 21 hired me as a product developer and I helped launch their cosmetic line. In 2017 I had my first born and decided to become a stay at home mom. During this time I began working with James to bring his brilliant idea of the first lip plumper that actually plumped and filled your lips to life. It’s been one of my most gratifying endeavors! Being reunited with my boy bestie from Fred Segal has been a dream!
